Information about Poland

Poland lies almost entirely on the North European Plain. Rysy is the highest mountain peak, 2503 m above sea level and is on the southern border. The longest rivers are the Vistula (1047 km) in the centre, and the Odra (854 km) which flows along Poland’s western border. The population of Poland is about 38.6 million people. The cities are mostly small or medium sized. The capital, Warsaw, is situated in the centre of the country and has a population of 1.7 million people.  The Polish students worked on various presentations about Poland. Here are a few examples.
