Now we start …

mindfulnessThis is the first posting on our web page for our new project. The last few weeks we have taken our first steps. We have found almost all participants for the first year and they have been writing a short introduction on themselves. The intro will be published on our page in the next days and weeks.
The Icelandic students are preparing some presentations about Iceland. The Icelandic team will visit the partner school the first week in November.
This week the Icelandic students got a course in mindfulness. They used material called .b which stands for (stop, Breathe and Be). The material aims to teach students how they can take better care of them selves,  learn more effectively, perform better, feel calmer, less anxious and less depressed. The picture was taken in one of the lessons, where the students concentrated on their walking.
