Our adventure has started!!
We met at 12 o’clock in front of our school. Then we traveled by bus to Katowice and took our flight to Iceland. During our journey we had a lot of fun and laugh. When we came to the hostel in Reykjavík everybody was tired and soon fell asleep.
Saturday 11 March 2017. – This day was full of beautiful places. We left our hostel at 8 o’clock and went to Þingvellir National Park where the first Icelandic Democratic Parliament was established. Then we traveled to Gullfoss-waterfall. This waterfall consists of two smaller waterfalls. It impressed us so much and we took a lot of pictures.
The next stop was the Geysir area. It was so funny when everyone was waiting for geysers’ eruptions. Unfortunately it started raining and we were all wet.
Surprisingly, when we came to the second waterfall-Skógafoss, the weather got better and it started to get sunny. Everybody knows that when after rain comes the sun, a rainbow sometimes appears and it happened now. The rainbow and the waterfall made an awesome view and we enjoyed it a lot.
When we came to Höfn in the evening, our partners had been already waiting for us. They greeted us cordially, packed our staff and us into the cars and took us to their houses and treated us to a lovely meal. This day was great, we liked so much all the places that we had seen and we hope next days will be such as good as today.
