My name is Mirza Hasecic and I turned 18 this year in September. I was born in Bosnia but I grew up and live in a small town called Höfn in the southeast-coast of Iceland. I live with my parents, Nihad and Jasminka. I have a sister, Amna, she is 22 years old and lives in Reykjavík, where she is studying Tourism and Marketing. My dad works at the local elementary school and is also a football coach in our town, while my mom works in the largest freezing plant in town. I go the school FAS (Framhaldsskólinn í Austur-Skaftafellssýslu) where I´m on my third year. I study social science along with Mathematics.
I have a girlfriend called Inga, we have been together for three years and she is also in this program.
I play football for the local club Sindri and that is my biggest passion, when I am older I would like to do something in sports.
In my free time I like to play football, hang out with my friends and play FIFA and GTA.
My favorite TV shows are Friends and Bones. My favorite football team is Manchester United in the English premier league.
During the summer I play football most of the time because that is when our football season is, along with that I work in the freezing plant where we mainly pack lobster, our town is know for its lobster. Most of the summers I also go to Bosnia to visit my friends and family there.
I have never been to Poland but I am very much looking forward to it and to meeting all of you.
